AmRest Holdings is targeting a listing in Madrid

(Reuters) – The operator of franchise restaurants AmRest Holdings aims for a listing in Spain after the transfer in march of his headquarters Polish in Madrid, according to a notice financial.

The proposal will be submitted on June 6 to shareholders of the group at the annual general meeting, specifies the document.

AmRest seeks a primary listing at the end of June at the Madrid stock Exchange, reported Saturday the newspaper El Economista and Cinco Dias.

AmRest manages the franchises of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Pizza Hut and Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX) in Europe and Russia, and also has own brands in Spain and France. The company has posted a net profit of 182 million zlotys (€43 million) in 2017, according to data from Thomson Reuters.
