Visiomed: wants to acquire two brands from Perrigo

The group Visiomed indicates that its branch dedicated to the products of family health, marketed in a pharmacy, Laboratories, Visiomed, has just signed a project for the acquisition of two brands owned by laboratoires Omega Pharma France and Omega Pharma Belgium, a subsidiary of the pharmaceutical group Perrigo.

‘This acquisition project (…) aims to significantly increase the turnover of the Laboratory Visiomed and make this branch structurally profitable. To this day, the activity of the two trademarks referred to represents a business volume in excess of 5 million euros. Especially, the brands with strong reputations and powerful offer to the Laboratory Visiomed, a tremendous potential for development of new products. The company expects a doubling of its turnover in 3 years through the implementation of the marketing know-how of the teams of the Laboratory Visiomed’, announces the group.

The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed. The operation must be completed during the summer.
