Japan : Total launches the construction of the solar facility Miyako Solar Park

Total Solar, a 100% subsidiary of Total, is dedicated to solar activities, has launched the construction of its second solar power plant in Japan. Located in Miyako, in Iwate prefecture, this plant with a capacity of 25 megawatts-peak, whose commissioning is scheduled for 2018, will produce a clean and reliable power to more than 8 000 homes japanese.

This plant will be designed to meet the strict standards of earthquake-resistant construction in force in Japan.
