The founder of the group, CMA CGM, Jacques Saadé, died Sunday, June 24 at the age of 81 years, announced the French group, number three worldwide in the maritime transport, in Marseille.
“Jacques R. Saadé had dedicated his life to CMA CGM. Visionary non-standard and contractor unique, they had done their group a world leader in maritime container transport, are continuing to develop in more than 160 countries, while maintaining its family dimension and its human values, ” wrote the group in its press release.
