Bluelinea, operator objects and connected services dedicated to the well-aging at home, announced the resumption of the activity of direct selling to the particular Health Service.

Today, Thursday, June 1, teams of Bluelinea resume and the follow-up of the subscribers of the Health Service tele-assistance and location-based service for people with Alzheimer’s. 5.250 subscribers throughout France will add to the 19.148 families with them to the end of may 2017 (+520 compared to the end of march 2017). This is close to 24.400 the total number of subscribers, accompanied day and night at their homes by teams of Bluelinea and represents an additional sales recurring B2C of the order of 800 k on 12 months.
“We announced on April 18, 2017 the implementation of an action plan to achieve profitability by the end of the year. This action plan includes a component “offensive” to amplify the growth momentum recorded over the last two quarters, both by organic development by external growth. This acquisition achieves that objective and is, therefore, naturally in the process of profitable growth initiated by Bluelinea since the beginning of the year 2017. It was also included in our cash plan, ” says Laurent Levasseur, President of the management Board of Bluelinea.
“We wanted to give this business of selling direct to individuals so that we can concentrate on the development of new services at health institutions and professionals, such as the organization for the return home of the elderly,” added Dr Alain Refrais, President of the Association of Health Service.
In parallel to this recovery of the business and 2 employees, Bluelinea Association and the Health Service have signed a partnership agreement allowing the Group to build on a new platform 24h24 to the South-East quarter of France, at Mougins (06).
This site will improve the national coverage of teams Bluelinea but above all develop a closer relationship with the prescribers premises, an essential step to go further in the support to frail and dependent, at home as in long-term care facilities.
This acquisition, the amount of which remains confidential, is carried out without conditions precedent, and funded through the treasury of the company. In the continuity of this announcement and to support its development, Bluelinea recalls, provide a fund raising in the coming months, the terms of which are in course of definition.
