Bernard Gainnier, Chairman of PwC France and francophone Africa, has been elected for a second mandate for a period of 4 years from 1 July 2017. While the consultancy and audit shows an activity in the annual growth continues, the president and his team announce the establishment of a new organization to bring together service offerings, PwC new transformation challenges of its customers and accelerate its own transformation as a business.

A new management team (Territory Leadership Team) has been set up to accelerate the growth of PwC. Bernard Gainnier has made the choice to surround yourself with associated with the course and the various skills both in terms of activities (Audit, Strategy and Consulting, Tax and Legal, Transaction and Accounting Expertise) that of geographic areas (regions of france, Maghreb and French speaking Africa sub-saharan).
The new leadership team of PwC France and francophone Africa is more versatile for a successful transformation of PwC and all of its businesses.
Some of its members are participating for the first time a management team, which demonstrates the commitment shown by the cabinet to facilitate and accelerate the professional advancement of its talents.
In order to break down the barriers between sectors and occupations in PwC, the management team will be led by an executive committee (Comex), which did not exist until now. The Executive committee chaired by Bernard Gainnier is composed of 4 Managing Partners who have responsibility for 4 key dimensions around which revolve now the organization of PwC France and francophone Africa.

The consultancy and audit shows an activity in constant growth
Over the last 3 years, the turnover of the firm increased by an average of 6% per year, up to 849 million euros on 30 June 2016. In addition, his consulting activities have increased over this period from 9 per cent to 277 million euros at June 30, 2016.
These results can be explained in particular by the establishment of an investment policy aimed at diversifying the skills of PwC to better respond to the new challenges of business transformation. The multidisciplinary expertise of PwC allows us to provide a comprehensive response to clients ranging from strategy through to implementation through to benefits of UX design or strategy consulting.
After the acquisition 2 years ago of the cabinet of council in strategy Booz & Company by PwC (now Strategy&, the consulting business in strategy, PwC), PwC France has chosen, at the end of 2015, to strengthen its expertise in the transformation to digital through the acquisition of Nealite, a leader in design thinking. Now since the Experience Center of PwC, that allows its clients to imagine and design innovative experiences and operational. This acquisition complements the firm’s SMG, in 2015, which has helped to strengthen the teams of PwC in support of operational (” Operational Support “).
At the end of 2016, PwC France has also completed two new acquisitions : Datasio, a start-up specializing in Big Data, and IDRH, consulting firm leader in the transformation of organizations and human resources, in order to better assist businesses in their own transformation.
At the same time, PwC France has launched on the entire French territory with a new offer of services for SMES : PwC ” Services for Entrepreneurs “, whose ambition is to double its business by 2020, through a strategy of external growth with attractive and innovative for the accounting firms. The acquisition of Ampersand, accounting firm and audit office dedicated to SMES, illustrates the first step of this ambitious policy.
All the members of the management team will have the ambition to propose to all the clients of PwC a different experience by focusing on :

Biographies of associates, members of the Territory Leadership Team of PwC France and francophone Africa
Bernard Gainnier (President)
Auditor and chartered accountant, graduate of law and of the IAE of Aix-en-Provence, Bernard Gainnier began his career with PwC in 1985 and was named partner in 1995. Passed successively through the offices of Paris and Marseille, he moved to Shanghai (China) in 1997 before joining the office of San José (United States) in 2000.
On his return to Paris in 2001, he played an important role in the development of PwC and participates in, the organization by sector of activity of the audit firm and of the council. In 2009, he became a member of the executive committee and has particular responsibility for the development by sectors of activity, in the segment of Enterprises of Intermediary Size (ETI), as well as marketing.
Bernard Gainnier becomes the Chairman of PwC France and francophone Africa on the 1st of July 2013.
Ludovic de Beauvoir (Managing Partner, Executive committee member)
A chartered accountant and a graduate of the ESC Rouen, Ludovic de Beauvoir joined PwC in 1983 within the Audit. During his career at PwC, he specialised in computer audit and joined the board’s activities in the organization. He continued his career in 1999 in the pole tip at Ernst & Young as partner, and then joined Capgemini in 2000 as associate director head of department board Middle Market. In 2003, he re-joins PwC to contribute to the development of the activities of Council to the cabinet. He specializes in the transformation of the Finance function, skills which he hosted at the French level and international level for several years. Ludovic de Beauvoir is responsible for the management of the relationship between PwC and DFCG (national Association of finance directors and management control), it is part of the editorial committee of the journal movement of the DFCG. He has been member of the supervisory board of PwC France and of the business Advisory between 2005 and 2013. Since 1 July 2013, Ludovic de Beauvoir is a member of the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa. Previously responsible for the business Consulting, it is from the 1 January 2017 Managing Partner Clients & Market ” within the Executive committee of PwC France and francophone Africa.
Agnès Hussherr (Managing Partner, Executive committee member)
Auditor and accountant a graduate of ESC Reims Agnès Hussherr, began his career at PwC in Paris in 1989 and was appointed partner in 2001. Today, she is responsible for the audit of large clients in the banking sector of PwC France. From July 2016, it is the responsibility of the human resources of PwC at a global level as Global Human Capital Leader. A member of the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa since the same date, as head of Transformation (business Transformation Leader PwC France, Agnès Hussherr now sees itself entrusted, from 1 January 2017, the responsibility of Human Resources and the corporate Culture of PwC France and francophone Africa.
William Lorain (Managing Partner, Executive committee member)
A graduate of ESC Rouen Guillaume Lorain has an experience of nearly 20 years in the field of transactions. He began his career with PwC in 1990 as an auditor in the Paris office and then in London. Specialised in the sector Retail & consumer Goods, it resumed in 1995 for the co-ordination of the audit of the Danone Group. Guillaume Lorain joined the pôle Transactions of PwC in 1998, where he is co-opted as a partner in 2001. Associate in the department Transactions, it is specialized in the accompaniment of clients and Private Equity and their portfolio companies. Guillaume Lorain is a member of the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa since the 1st of August 2015. Previously responsible for the business Transactions, it has taken since the 1st of January 2017, in charge of the Operations of PwC France and francophone Africa in the executive committee.
Edouard Sattler (Managing Partner, Executive committee member)
Auditor a graduate of the ESSEC business school, Edouard Sattler joined the Audit of PwC in 1987. From 1995 to 1998, he went to the office in Frankfurt. Co-opted as a partner in 1998 in Paris, he became a member of the German Desk. Edouard Sattler is a specialist in the manufacturing industry and chemical (France and Germany), and also knows the distribution, engineering and construction. He has been involved in the implementation of procedures for steering of internal control and intervened in many countries in the PwC network to coordinate the work of the local teams. Responsible of the manufacturing industry from 2008 to 2012, Edouard Sattler is a member of the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa since the 1st July 2013. Previously in charge of Human Resources, it is since the 1st of January 2017, now in charge of the Synergies and the Leadership within the executive committee, in the exercise.
Benjamin Ribault
A graduate of the ESSEC business school, Benjamin Ribault has joined the department Transactions of PwC in 1998. For 18 years, he accompanies the large groups on their issues of valuation and financial modeling in the context of transactions. Co-opted partner in 2007, Benjamin Ribault carries the responsibility of the sector Engineering & Construction PwC France & francophone Africa and manages the commercial animation of large groups of the energy industry at the global level. Since January 1, 2017, Benjamin Ribault is a member of the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa, as a responsible of the sector Industry & Services for which it supports the commercial animation, particularly among the major clients of the firm.
Xavier Crépon
Auditor, holder of a BBA from ESSEC business school and a diploma of chartered accountant in Usa (CPA), Xavier Crépon has joined the team of PwC specialized in the insurance sector in 1999. He accompanied for 18 years the key players of this sector as an auditor and council on matters related to finance functions and risks. After 4 years in Japan, Xavier Crépon has returned to the Paris office in 2010 as partner with responsibility for the activities of auditing applied to the insurance sector since 2014. He joined the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa January 1, 2017, as head of the financial Services industry to which it supports the commercial animation and coordination of the various trades of the firm.
François Antarieu
Auditor, holder of a master’s degree in business law (Paris 2), and is a graduate of Science-Po Paris, ESC Toulouse, François Antarieu began his career at PwC in audit in Paris in 1985, where he specializes in the construction industry and consumer products. He joined the office of Toulouse, since its creation in 1988, and joined in 1992 the office of Lille for its creation also. From 1997 to 1998, he joined the department Transactions of PwC in the United Kingdom. Back in Paris, he is appointed as a partner. In the course of his career, he has acquired significant experience in Private Equity. In 2011, François Antarieu becomes responsible for the region South-West to the audit. François Antarieu is a member of the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa since the 1st July 2013, is responsible for the different areas and the Middle Market. It has been renewed in this office on January 1, 2017.
Edouard Messou
A chartered accountant, a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce d’abidjan (ESCA), Edouard Messou began his career at PwC in 1981 in Abidjan office. It with experience of over 30 years in France and in Africa, during which he has led many audit engagements, tax advisory, financial analysis and strategic advice to the public sector, para-public and private. Before being named President of PwC francophone Africa in July 2003, Edouard Messou has been Chairman of PwC Côte d’ivoire and West Africa from 1998 to 2003. Since 1 July 2013, Edouard Messou is a member of the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa, responsible for francophone sub-saharan Africa. It has been renewed in this office on January 1, 2017.
Bruno Tesnière
Chartered accountant and statutory auditor, graduate of the ESC Rouen, Bruno Tesnière has an experience of almost 20 years as a partner of a signatory of major international groups. He began his career in France in 1985, his career continued in Belgium, before joining PwC France in 2003. Co-opted as a partner in 1997, he has specialized in services, in particular the recreational sector. On January 1, 2017, Bruno Tesnière joined the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa as a partner responsible for risk management.
Stéphane Meffre
A graduate from HEC and chartered accountant, Stéphane Meffre has an experience of over 20 years in the field of transactions. It is specialized in the missions of due diligence and council in the framework of projects of acquisition or disposal complex, both for industrial clients as investment funds. After having started his career at Peat Marwick, Stéphane joined PwC in 1987. Co-opted as a partner in July 1995, he continued his career in London before returning to Paris in 1997, first at the department Restructuring, and then from 2000 in the department Transactions. Stéphane Meffre is a member of the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa since the 1st July 2013. After 2 years as head of the business Transactions, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer on July 1, 2015. From 1 January 2017, Stéphane Meffre is renewed in his function of Chief Financial Officer within the new TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa.
Geoffroy Schmitt
A graduate of Grenoble Ecole de Management, Geoffroy Schmitt has an experience of almost 20 years in the field of transactions. He began his career at PwC in 1993 as an auditor within the office of Lyon and then Paris. In 1998, he joined the department Transactions of PwC, where he is co-opted as a partner in 2006. It supervises the activities relating to the financial services industry within the deal team and is specialized in the real estate sector of which he is also the leader of PwC France. Geoffroy Schmitt is a member of the executive committee of the department Transactions from 2016. Previously in charge of the steering of the transformation project “Workplace of the Future” aimed at strengthening the live/work together, it is since the 1st of January 2017 responsible for the Change, Innovation and Transformation of the business model of the firm in the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa.
Sophie Salomé
Expert accountant and a graduate of the university Montesquieu Bordeaux IV, Sophie Salomé began his career in 1988 at PwC Noumea in audit. In 1990, she joined the Paris office in accounting. It is co-opted partner in 2001, and specializes in the tasks delegated management of accounting and financial services to large companies (outsourcing of accounting, assistance relay). She also works with many French subsidiaries of large foreign groups that contract to PwC all of their work is “compliance” accounting, tax, and social. Sophie Salomé is a member of the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa since the 1st July 2013 as head of the business accounting. It has been renewed in the January 1, 2017.
Patrice Morot
Auditor and chartered accountant graduated from ISG Paris, Patrice Morot began his career at PwC in Paris in 1990 and was named partner in 2002. He is now in charge of the audit of large groups in the banking sector, but also a member of the Board Bank of the NBAC and the federation of Accountancy in Europe. Since July 2013, it was responsible, within the TLT, the Audit department, the development of activities related to risk control, internal control, and services to the internal audit and compliance. Since January 1, 2017, Patrice Morot now has the responsibility for the activities of the Audit and Board risk management within the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa.
Vincent Le Bellac
A graduate of Sciences-Po Paris, Vincent Le Bellac has made the most of his career in the field of treasury, financial markets and raw materials. He began his career at BFCE in 1987, before moving into the corporate world by becoming treasurer of the group of CEP Communication. He joined PwC in Paris in 1998 to create the consulting business to a cash business. Co-opted as a partner in 2004, he contributed to the development of this activity in France and internationally. It was since 2013 in charge of the activities of Council for the sector Industry & Services. Since January 1, 2017, Vincent Le Bellac is a member of the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa, as head of the business Council of PwC France and francophone Africa.
Anne-Valérie Attias-Assouline
Lawyer at the bar of the Hauts-de-Seine is a graduate of a masters of business Law from the university Panthéon Sorbonne Paris I, Anne-Valérie Attias-Assouline began his legal career in 1997 within the department of banking and Finance Price Waterhouse Tax and Legal (now PwC law firm). In 1999, she joined the M&A department of the firm. Appointed as a partner in 2007, she hosted the group’s Transactions since 2010. Anne-Valérie Attias-Assouline is a member of the executive committee of PwC’s law firm since 1 July 2013. She took the chair of PwC’s law firm on July 1, 2016. Since this date, Anne-Valérie Attias-Assouline is a member of the executive committee of PwC France and francophone Africa, as manager of the Legal business and Tax. It has been renewed in the January 1, 2017.
Olivier Marion
A chartered accountant, a graduate of the EDHEC business school, Olivier Marion started his career with PwC in 1994, first in the fields of financial audit, then transactions from the beginning of 1999. Fort including his two years spent in the New York office, he accompanied the financial investors and industrial groups in their projects of acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures in France and abroad. Co-opted as a partner in 2006, Olivier Marion directs the business Business Recovery Services, accompanying companies in difficulties, since 2009. He is also in charge of developing the office of Innovation, PwC France for 2015. Since January 1, 2017, Olivier Marion has joined the TLT of PwC France and francophone Africa, in quality of responsible of the activity Transactions.
