Bergman & Beving ab, a business segment within B&B TOOLS group, has today acquired all the shares in the Arbesko Group AB Arbesko is one of the strongest Nordic brands for safety and work shoes with its own product development and manufacturing in Sweden. Arbesko Group has a turnover of approximately SEK 200 million per year with approximately 120 employees.
Arbesko is a successful family business with its own research, development and manufacturing of protective and work shoes for professional users. The company was founded in 1839 and Arbesko is since many years the leading brand in the Nordic countries and is also established in several european markets. The sale takes place in close cooperation with several of scandinavia’s leading construction and industriåterförsäljare.
Shoes from Arbesko are designed to meet the professional users ‘ high demands on quality and comfort and has a high technical content, with many unique features.

We see very good opportunities for further development and growth for the Arbesko as a part of Bergman & Beving.”
Arbesko will continue to operate as an independent company within the Bergman & Beving according to the group’s philosophy of decentralised business responsibility.

Closing took place today, on 3 april 2017. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive effect on B&B TOOLS ‘ earnings per share during the current financial year.
