Paris (France), 19 June 2017 : Apax Partners and Altamir announced to have completed the first stage of the transfer of the balance of their participation in Gfi Informatique, a leading european player, computer services and value-added software, Mannai Corporation.

According to the press release sent on 10 may, Apax Partners and Altamir, who hold approximately 18.5% of the share capital and voting rights of Gfi Informatique, performed the first assignment of approximately 12% of the share capital and voting rights. The balance, approximately 6.5% of the share capital and voting rights, will be transferred in June 2018.

Gfi Informatique occupies a strategic position in its differentiated approach to global firms and niche players. With its low-profile multi-specialist, the Group offers to its clients a unique combination of proximity, sector organisation and quality industrial solutions. The Group has close to 14 000 employees.

The turnover of the corporation increased from 633 M€ in 2006 to 1 015 Million euros in 2016, thus crossing the bar of one billion euros. The company has based its growth strategy on three specific themes : the transformation of its business model, internationalization and operations of external growth.

Transformation of the business model

Gfi Informatique has successfully managed the evolution of its model by industrialising its processes and its know-how in particular via the development of international services centre for both the massification of skills and the increase of the operational efficiency to the customers of the Group.

Internationalization

Gfi Informatique has refocused its international operations, strengthened its presence in Southern Europe and is open to the markets of the eastern Europe. Today, international accounts for 25% of sales pro forma of the Group.

Operations of external growth

Gfi Informatique has successfully completed the acquisition and integration of 20 companies since 2006, in order to enrich its offer of services and expand abroad. The acquisitions of Roff and Efron in 2016, allowed Gfi Informatique to double the size of its operations in the iberian peninsula.
