Strikes, the resignation of the CEO, Jean-Marc Janaillac, loss of 118 million euros in the first quarter of 2018 : the situation of Air France-KLM is considered severely in the netherlands. There, one focuses on the figure of 300 million that would have cost the total fifteen days of strikes accumulated. Some voices even advocate a return to the independence of the royal Company of aviation.
Interviewed in Brussels, in the margins of a european meeting, the minister of finance, Wopke Hoekstra, rejects any idea of this type : “there is no doubt in my mind : this company must remain united. We do not tackle it together to make it the best and most competitive in a highly competitive sector. ”
