SPIE : new contract awarded by TenneT for the extension work of a position in high-voltage …

Netherlands, Breda, June 22, 2017 – The operator of networks high voltage TenneT has chosen SPIE for work on the expansion of the electrical substation high voltage Viervertalen, in order to achieve a new position of 380 kV. It is the most important control on the market of high-voltage substations for the european market leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications in the netherlands.

SPIE has offered the most economically advantageous and was therefore awarded the tender. The contract includes the completion of the entire work, of the preparation of the site until the commissioning of the new station high-voltage of 380 kV, which will integrate the control and safety of the station high-voltage existing 220 kV. SPIE will appeal to Dura Vermeer and Friso Bouwgroep for the realization of civil engineering works.

The new line 380 kV will connect Eemshaven and the position high-voltage current. Six new transformers will convert the voltage levels of 220 kV and 110 kV. This new position high voltage will be the largest in the netherlands.

The procedure of the public system of co-ordination (Rijks Coördinatie Regeling – CPR) for the binding of the 380-kV Eemshaven Oudeschip and Vierverlaten is in progress. This week, the ministers of the economy, infrastructure and the environment will publish a first version of the zoning plan that defines the location of this link.

The beginning of works is scheduled for 2019, and put into service in 2021.
